Our honey is a completely natural product, made by our hardworking bees right here on Inglestone Common. The flavour, colour, and availability of our honey vary with the seasons which depends on the weather, local flora, and most importantly the health and wellbeing of the bees themselves which always comes first.
We offer our honey in a range of jar sizes, along with other seasonal favourites such as cut comb honey. All products are produced in small batches, with care and respect for the bees and their environment. Due to limited supply, some products may only be available at certain times of year.

Our standard 227g jar is the perfect way to enjoy our delicious, small-batch honey, straight from the hives on Inglestone Common. Each extraction is unique, and we reflect that in our labelling: every batch features its own label colour and updated content, detailing the season, weather, and nectar sources that influenced the honey’s flavour and texture. And if you’re a fan of wordplay, you’re in for a treat: each label will probably contain a pun or two, because we bee-lieve in keeping things light and joyful.
Spring honeys, drawn from nectar sources like hawthorn and dandelion, tend to set quickly and develop a creamy texture. In contrast, our summer honeys remain runny for much longer and often have a lighter, floral profile. When conditions allow, we also produce a limited batch of late-season ivy honey from the Lower Woods, known for its strong, distinctive flavour and rich, almost fudge-like consistency.

Our 227g chunk honey jar combines two delights in one: a generous piece of natural honeycomb suspended in runny, golden honey. It’s honey in its purest form, just as the bees made it, harvested from our hives here on Inglestone Common.
Chunk honey is normally produced using our runny summer honey, which works best for this style due to its smooth texture and lighter flavour. The comb is added straight from the hive, creating a beautiful, rustic jar that’s as delicious as it is eye-catching and makes a great gift!
Production of chunk honey is extremely limited, even in a good season, only a few hundred jars are made. That’s because bees will only draw fresh comb when conditions are just right: warm, settled weather and strong nectar flow. We let the bees decide, and their wellbeing always comes first.
Each batch reflects the season in which it was produced, with label colours and descriptions updated to match the weather conditions and local nectar sources. And yes, you’ll probably find a few bee-themed puns on the label, because we like to keep things sweet and cheerful.
The comb itself is completely edible and adds texture and depth of flavour. Enjoy it spread on toast, paired with cheese, or eaten straight from the jar.

Comb Honey
Comb honey is the most natural and untouched way to enjoy honey, truly raw honey. We simply take whole frames of capped honeycomb from our hives in Lower Woods and lightly vacuum seal them. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
The texture and flavour of comb honey vary depending on the flowers the bees have been feeding on. Most of our comb honey comes from nectar gathered from brambles, but since our bees fly freely across the landscape, we can’t guarantee the exact floral sources. This variability is part of the magic, like fine wine, our comb honey changes with the season, the location, and the weather.
Each piece is unique, beautifully golden, and bursting with flavour and aroma. Whether soft and light or rich and chewy, no two pieces are ever quite the same.
Our full frame comb honey is presented exactly as it comes from the hive, complete with its wooden frame — perfect for placing on a tray and serving as a spectacular centrepiece. It’s ideal for breakfast tables, grazing boards, or a show-stopping gift for food lovers.
Smaller cut sections are also available on request, perfect for individual gifts, hampers, or a more manageable way to enjoy this natural treat at home.
